Not sure what you mean when you say "ping", but I can only assume people don't respond because you have you're child, as the display picture. Putting one up of yourself can only help. After all this does appear to be a dating website.

Think you misunderstand. Nothing about a quick hookup, but like I said the website seems to be dead and other websites appear to be more active. I like the look of this one and will stick around.
