ok so i just had a guy i met on here who lives in a different state than i do, say to me....i really wish i could call you i really like you i just hate being single...i told him i know how he feels i dont like being single either...then he said i think we could make this work i would travel to see you it might be hard at first but i would do it...THEN>>>>> i put my life on the line for this country just so you know.... OMG are you serious....your trying to make me feel sorry for you because your in the Army??? dont get me wrong i respect each and every man and woman that is in the army and i thank them for what they are doing...my brother is in iraq right now and i miss him dearly
 ...however, you cant use that line on me to get me to date you it just makes me feel like you want me to feel sorry for you...i am not going to date someone because i feel sorry for them..so after that conversation i told him that that line probably wont work on many women and he hasnt talked to me since...???  did i say something wrong?

ok so i am new to this online dating thing and this is the only site that you dont have to pay to talk to people which is awesome...but i want to know how many of you have met someone on a site and actually had it work out??? even if your not still together (sorry if your not) my friends are just skeptical about online dating because you dont ever really know who your talking to even if you do see pictures you always wonder if its actually them or talk on the phone...i talked to this one guy on the phone he was gorgeous said he was 25 when i talked to him on the phone he sounded 50... kinda freaky lol so like i said just wondered if anyone has found true love on here or anyother site....

what is the fairy tale dream exactly? i dont really think thats why love fails...i think its because people are scared and realize they have to be with one person for the rest of their lives...thats why my love failed anyway...hubby wanted to sleep with more than just me...
 thats just my opinion...

I know that feeling of being lost. I felt it when I tried to live single after having been married. To me the feeling of single felt different than before I was married. I had to become comfortable living in my own skin and learn it is okay to be single. yeah that is what i am doing now...hubby decided to cheat on me...@$$ hole..so now i am trying to learn how to be ok on my own. its taking a while but i think i can do it. its only been a month for me tho any suggestions? i have never really dated before. |
