what is the fairy tale dream exactly? i dont really think thats why love fails...i think its because people are scared and realize they have to be with one person for the rest of their lives...thats why my love failed anyway...hubby wanted to sleep with more than just me... thats just my opinion...

You can't make someone into what they are not. Not fair to anyone. So, yes love fails a lot because we have our own idea of a fairy tale dream...

Do you think LOVE fails so often because we want the fairy tale dream? I think so. People believe in that "happily ever after" bull-honkey and are often disappointed when it just isn't that simple. Not everyone out there can end up with their Prince Charming or Cinderella.

hmmmm....I'm not looking for the fairy tale...or the perfect man...just the perfect man for me....my "head over heels"....I think each of us enter into a relationship thinking it is the fairy tale...but the minute something goes wrong...instead of fixing it...we bail...jmo

A fairytail...to each, it's own individuality. For, it is like no other before it. We can not plan to have have one. If it is to become, it will unfold unto it's own self.

No, I don't think it's because of that. Why not lots of guys claim that they're romantics but no one has proved it to me. romance is a shared moment between two people, it's not where the guy takes you or how much money he spends on you, or which expensive restaurant he takes you, nor it is an act...(he would jump off a building for you, etc)

I've lost one recently because of what he thought he was reading in my eye's. But, I think he was seeing his reflection.

Well, I think that most get together for the wrong reasons to begin with. It may be looks, financial reasons, lots of different reasons. Look around this site... you've got some really nice people.. Big hearts, lots of personality and seem to be decent. I'm gonna get creamed for this..but maybe some not real attractive. (I'm not excluding me so don't yell at me) People don't take the time to get to know them/ us. THey are looking for the "eye candy". Doesn't matter if you are man or woman.. both do it. If more people took into consideration what's on the inside just as much as the outside..I think more would work.. Just my opinion.. I may be wrong. :)
