From a woman’s perspective, it’s rarely about sex itself. The door usually starts closing when emotional safety fades..when feeling seen, desired, or understood becomes inconsistent. Resentment, unspoken hurt, exhaustion, or feeling more like a role than a partner can quietly pile up. By the time sex disappears, it’s often a symptom, not the cause.
