Many of us have figured out that we are better off right where we are. Don't take this the wrong way, nothing personal, With the way many women are now, why would a man want to hitch himself to one of them in a permanent fashion?

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying they are all bad. I'm sure out there in the world there are good ones. But, they are getting fewer and farther between. Men now have to be careful. Too many women base whether they will be with someone or not on what that man can give them.

And a lot of men, even after they get my age, still think below the belly button. They wind up losing everything they worked hard to get. So, some men, when they get around my age, they start thinking, "being by yourself isn't that bad". Why take the chance on losing everything for the second time? Especially at this age.

Me personally, I like things just like they are. I date pretty much when I want to. So far I've never gone dateless unless I wanted to. I've got a roof over my head that's paid for and plenty of land around me. I come and go as I please and do pretty much what I want. And I do have a lady friend that I like being around. (So far) I've been free most of my life. No point in changing it.
