Interested to see some more views on this topic.  And AGAIN Actual Statistics of crimes committed WHILE being intoxicated by it. Excluding selling or transporting.
The internet being what it is today and all the stupid studies and statistics they have out there. You would think that something so terribly bad would have statistics on this.  I have looked myself and cant find a thing.

EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE deserves the benifit of the doubt and a second chance...people do change grow and become better people if they desire to do so...also there are some pretty messed up situations out there...people getting in trouble for nothing, false accusations and a crappy justice system....court appointed lawyers that dont do anything etc etc.... so pesonsaly i dont judge someone by their past record i judge them on the amount of respect they show and on their current actions...if they are acting a fool it shows they dont want to change and dont care...then i write them off Dude there was and is no doubt. That was decided in a courtroom! That was decided when he planned to hold up the place. That was decided when he pulled the trigger! Does the guy who just tried to set off the bomb in Times Square deserve a second chance? After all it never did go off, so he really didn’t hurt anyone. I’m thinking you will say no so I feel it is safe to say that NOT everyone deserves a second chance. She cannot judge him by what he says while he is in prison. It might be different had she known him prior to his “mistake” (cough) but the fact is most people in prison claim to be innocent and we all know they are filled with “nice guys” who just happen to be victims of bad situations. Right? Judging this guy can start AFTER he is released and he has a chance to prove himself in society. It shouldn’t be done now, especially by a young, impressionable girl who thinks it is her calling to save this criminal. I can’t help but wonder; if she was your daughter or your niece would you be so open to this? Very Well Said!!!!

Texting while driving is ludicris. These people have to TYPE stuff in their phone, taking their eyes off the road to type the right letters. Why not stop being lazy and call the dang person? It is a distraction that can cause anyone their life. Is it really worth killing someone over?

I said: Unless a man possesses something special -- extra-attractive looks, or an overwhelming experience, or an extra-ordinary mind (i.e. anythithing creative to keep a lady captivated) -- cheap dates can last no more than 2-3 times.
Essentially, you agree with me completely: ONLY DULL MEN ARE CAPABLE OF CHEAP DATES -- regardless of how much money they have!!! We may share some generalities BUT I do not feel you have to be some extra ordinary person. Giving comes from the heart (no matter what) not the pocket book. The most memorable experiences I have had in my life have had very little to do with money or how much of it. AGAIN...if they have money and are just being CHEAP penny pinchers then that is a different story entirely! Expression of true love or affection doesn't have a cost on either side.

... Or, sure, for the first date, maybe. But let's face it, how long can a man entertain his date with a picnic in a park? ? ? After that, a lady should begin wondering whether he's worth of her affection!!! I'm not talking about splurging big bucks, but neither am I talking about the high school years! Men better save some daugh, before inviting a woman out on a date! Either that, or Stick to the Internet and DON'T EVEN BOTHER! I dont happen to agree. To suggest a person save money to go out on a date, ok, BUTT so he's broke and saves for a date...thats just being fake to impress. UNLESS they just aren't spending money because they are cheap. THATS entirely different. If they are a good person and have lots to really offer, there are plenty of ways to court/date with. Im the type of girl that appreciates the intent and true trying. If you can't afford to buy a card for me...make me one (not just crayons)  There are endless things you can make extremely special and romantic or funny it just requires more thought and effort than money. I have tons of other examples but really dont need to go that far. Point being... there are lots of creative ways to go out and have a good time without spending much money. Especially in these economic times.
