I'm trying my first one now... It's hard but constant communication and open communication seems to be making things go ok... I think you just have to keep it real and not stress on the fact that you can't just meet up for dinner, etc. But I am new to this soooooooooooo what do I know...

yeah, they can work. trust and honesty is the basic pillar of any relationship. its easy to overcome long distance but its hard to get over self exposed distance some time ppl who u consider close too u r too far from u in reality..drinker drinker drinker

They work if a number of different circumstances roll perfectly together...if the circumstances don't roll perfectly it will be temporary.

I've tried it 4 times,,the last time I thought it was working,,,next thing I knew I was shut out,,on the other hand haven't had a local connection really work out either,,,lol ,,,I think local might be easier in some ways,,depends on what you want,,,and I hate to say it but money can be a factor unless you have your own piolet and lear jet.
Good Luck to you!

tried a couple of long distance relationships. Neither worked out to well. Communication slowed down in both relationships. I would still enter into a long distance relationship. With the right person I believe it can work. Looking back neither woman I was involved with in the past was the right one for me at the time.

(((fear))) I agree.. you have to be on the same page, wanting the same thing in a person and life..

Bottom line they can last but require perfection (in a sense). Trust is a big one and this is usually the failure of a long-distance relationship, the other part is affection. If either of these variables roll uneven with each other you get failure. Long distance relationships are not logical because of this reason.
