A bard comes in with a floating magical harp that plays its own tune on its own. The man smiles as he walks in and bows in every direction. He sees practically no one in the Green Dragon’s Inn. He removes his cape and sits at the tavern table. The melody of the harp plays lightly and soothes the soul as Boromir smiles feeling better already.
Then suddenly the bard sings: Mid pleasures and palace Though we may roam, Be it every so humble, Theres no place like home A charm from the skies Seems to hallow us there Which seek thro’ world Is ne’er met with elsewhere Home, home, sweet home, There’s no place like The Green Dragon There’s no place like this tavern He waves his hand as a mug in front of Boromir goes to the oak barrel and floats at the bottom of the tap. The tap amazingly shifts down and pours the Goblin’s Brew into the mug. Then with a small twitch of the bard’s finger the mug floats slowly across the tavern and into his hands. The harp floating in the air continues to play a fine tune to his song. With a good gulp of the brew the bard continues to sing his melody. I gaze on the moon As I tread the drear wild And I feel that my mother Now thinks of her child As she looks to the moon From our own cottage door Thro’ the woodbine whose fragrance Shall cheer me more Home, home sweet home There’s no place like the Green Dragon The best in town this tavern He takes another big gulp and stands up to dance around his magical harp that strings on its own. An exile from home Splendor dazzles in vain Oh, give me my lowly Thatched cottage again The birds sing gaily That came at my call Give me them and that Peace of mind, dearer than all Home, home sweet home There’s no place like the Green Dragon The best in town this tavern |
