Family fixed up what used to be a boarding house, brothel, eccentric doctor's house, and many other sordid tenants.

One night I woke up (in room#3) with a chill. I went downstairs to the main parlor where the furnace was. My sister (who doesn't remember this part) asked, "Did <they> tell you to come down here too?" I was like "huh?"

We fell asleep in front of the furnace in the parlor. The next morning when we went upstairs, there was a heavy piece of ceiling plaster that had fallen on my sister's pillow.

.....thankyou so very much for starting this thread....it has been very cathartic this morning, to be able to share such things and read "the others"...lol...(didnt mean that to be funny till I read it back......)

I have heard many people say that spirits can't touch or harm the living..WRONG!

I used to work in this hopital in the ICU..
there was this one room in the back, that whenever it happened to be empty.. durn lights and tv would always turn on.
couldnt bother turning them off, because they would just come back on. none of us would go into that room alone though. when people were in that room never seen anything though..

When I was in school..I went to schools that were 50% disabled..50% not..and there was an elevator on the 2nd floor that was haunted as all get out..lol.It worked on its own..the doors would open and close on their own and when they opened you could hear the sound of children laughing inside it..also one day they locked my friend in it because they knew she'd freak.
