allow such a thing to happen again. So I unfortunately cheers the stupid

I will ask AGAIN. How many terrorist attack have there been in The
U.S.A. since 9-11?

I am waiting for even one Bush bashing socialist to admit that Bush has
done at least one thing right.

Please define "socialist", I'm unclear on the concept.

And yes.......isn't it ironic that the catalyst for his war was a
terrorist attack that was "supposedly" started by someone he's not
really huntin for, just blowin smoke up our butts about it. Why is it
that he took out the leader of the country that posesses A LOT of oil,
instead of the guy who "committed" the terrorist act????
HHHMmmmmmmmmmm..............you smell that??? Smells like BS to me. Why
is it also that he and his father paid Osama back in the day MILLIONS of
$$$$$???? And were buddy-buddy with him??? Even had him at their
ranch??? Yeah, but he's done somethin right..............

Besides, it's just my opinion, not right, not wrong, just mine.

Well there are alot of things going on behind the scenes that average
citizens know nothing about, there are people stopped by the coast guard
and border patrol several times a year that goes unannounced in the news
for security reasons, weapons that would make you cringe, yes Iraq was a
terroist haven with ties to osama and with training camps. We want
freedom and it comes with a price. More people were killed in the WTC
Towers in a matter of minutes than in the first few years of the whole
campaign,(including Afghanistan) and some of these were our children to
which happened right here on our soil. It would have happened again and
more than once if we had not stepped up to the plate. Ex-President
Clinton had Osama ready to be handed over on a silver platter and turned
it down. We enjoy a freedom in this country alot of people don't, try
going to a cafe and wondering if you will leave it alive because some
religious fanatic thinks your death is his ticket to paradise. I know we
have **** that happens here that's bad, but it could ALWAYS be worse.

No terrorist attack in U.S. soil since 9-11. That is someting done
right. OR is this just coincidence?

FedMan's photo
Mon 01/29/07 05:46 PM
well one would definately hope something done right. I would have to say
done right myself considering all the attempts afterwards, by foreign
and domestic terrorists. alot of people don't realize how hard it is to
stop terrorists without having to compromise alot of the freedoms we
enjoy everyday, that is what really makes it hard to stop terrorist
actions. intelligence is our best defense and to try to attack them
where they live and train. It's not going to ever end most likely. The
more terrorists you stop the more they generate. Hatred is a very
influential feeling. Basically all foreign terrorism stems from the
support that the US provides to Israel, but that still is no excuse.
Domestic terrorism has many contributing factors, but they both have a
common denominator, which is fanaticism.

What scares me is the fact that everyone is ready to hang BUSH..The
outcome will be to elect anyone to replace him in the Oval
Office..without any reguards to them being qualified to do that
job...Hellary just wants to be the First Woman to be President...Thats
her goal in life....We'll never really get a good person there due to
the fact that it takes many BUCKS and political backing....You have to
kiss many asses and make alot of promises to even get a chance to
run....and thats a Fact Jack! 2 party system sucks... Thats one mans
opion....

the money, power, position, and influence that comes with the job is
enough to corrupt anyone that's one reason for the limit of 2 terms (8
yrs) in office

Very true yall, very true. I'm not sayin my opinion is right, it's just
my beliefs. I don't want to see Hillary in office either really. She
strikes me as the power-hungry type too. I don't vote for either party,
I'd rather vote for the independant people than either of those parties
that always fight for power on capitol hill. That said, I just feel that
Bush is the equivalent to Elmer Fudd. Like a rock, only dumber. I'd
rather we get somebody like JFK was back into office. Someone that shows
they actually care about the US citizens. I haven't seen it from Bush,
maybe my mind is clouded by my dislike for the guy, maybe not. I don't
know. I'm just glad shepp isn't the Prez!!
