Change & adventure are part of what keeps life EXCITING.
Sure school is tough, just take lighter loads.
I sold 1 business & have started 3 TOTALLY different things.

CHANGE, it is GREAT.

I did it, got a job and eventually it got outsourced so I am temporarily retired. Don't have to work but am thinking of going back to school again. WTH a few more sheepskins with what I have already got and I won't need any new wallpaper.

I have had the day from hell as far as school goes .First I am registered for grade 10 math. Then after explaining to the guidance counsellor that I have been out of school 30 yrs he tells me that the Canadian curriculum has changed so much that what they used to learn in grade 9 they now learn in grade 6.
So he suggests that I go back to upgrading class ......... where the teacher there tells me I am better off to go to the college and up grade there....So I unregister only to be talked into reregistering and give the grade 10 a try by another councellor.I had been trying to do correspondance math but found it to difficult. My head is about to explode. So much for trying to get back into the working world.explode  grumble
Has anybody else had the run around trying to acomplish your goal?sad Would like to hear your feedback.thanks

School is a great goal. You can do lots of things without a diploma. Read the book "Why We want You to be RICH" by Donald Trump & Richard Kiyosaki. very interesting look at the business & financial world.

Kiyosaki has some great financial books.
"Rich Dad/Poor Dad" was on the best seller list for 5 yrs. I learned a lot & just read it 1 1/2 yr ago. Highly reccommend it to all.

I am thinking about going the same route. I believe we should still be competitve in our goals, it's what keeps us sharp. Life's not over yet!

I believe Old Sage (Don) has some great ideas too, if you want to be your own boss!
