I actually want to date; to perhaps chat online, have a phone conversation and than meet for coffee or whatever and see if there's a possibility of a connection. I live in southern NJ (five minutes from Philly) and yet the only men who view my profile and send emails live in faraway states! That better be one heck of a cup of coffee! Is there something I could do to attract local men? Please I am open to suggestions! DEB

i have the same problem, try searches around your area and see if any of those would be a match. If so drop them a line. U never know if u don't try.

Set your settings to only match with people within perferred distance...start a thread for your area and see if it attracts anyone close...keep it alive by posting in it often (ya might just be chatting with yourself awhile but,ya never know)

DEB Hi Deb, I hear ya on that ..however, sometimes who we were meant to be with is not right next door, or even within a 100 miles..I know...I am in a relationship where we are 2000 miles away..It's hard sometimes but if two people love each other, love knows no distance, so please don't count it out....but... you have to be able to see each other sometimes, and eventually work on someone moving...Good luck

thanks, I'm not ruling anything out but I would definitely prefer someone in the area. You know, it's a 'reach out and touch someone thing'!!

Yes someone in your area makes things a whole lot easier, but just didnt work for me. Hope it does for you though
