i have been dating this girl for about a month. i have a little girl and well her parents know we are dating but she still has not told them i am seperated or that i have a daughter. what do you guys (and girls) think about this.

just be straight forward and talk to her about it. ask her if she plans on telling them

I think if her parents know you two are dating, and they accept you, telling them you have a child shouldn't be a big deal!! Good luck!!

how does she feel about you having a child? Maybe she is just waiting until things are more serious between you two before she tells her family. You might want to asked her how her family would feel about you having a child?

Guy that I was dating he dumped me recently he has a daughter who will be 2 July 23 and my family knew about her they loved that little girl. So she should tell them that your separated and have a little girl.

Maybe she knows her parents would feel the same as me about it...that separated is not divorced....and you aught to wait. Sorry, Chris, but you asked for opinions.

Do her parents know the two of you are dating? Maybe it's not your daughter she is avoiding telling them about but the fact that you aren't quite divorced.

So she should tell them that your separated and have a little girl. thanks i think so too but i have asked her and she changes the topic i dont know what else to do. it is starting to make me wonder if she really wants to date me or if she just wants a "buddy"

Sounds like a couple of different issues going on. Are you separated or divorced? What type of relationship does she have with her parents. Are they very religious \ old fashion.... Are they over bearing??? How old is the person your currently dating? (most women are understanding of children)

Some people believe - VERY STRONGLY - that it isn't over until the paperwork is filed. Her parents could be like that.
