try excel (it's a spreadsheet) or a similar program to start.

I use Outlook for contact information and to merge onto Word/Excel programs.

Program came w/my computer :wink:

Yeah. Open Office is what I'd use over anything else. It's free, it's updated almost TOO regularly, and it's the most compatible with M$ Office and stuff.

Beside the spreadsheet, it also comes with a database component as well.

i need a database to keep track of contacts...clients served...hours put in...etc...with a case notes file and then be able to run reports from it for monthly numbers....i dont know which way to turn or what program to use adn i do not have microsoft office/access/excel on my computer.......HELP ME!!!!!!!

You will have to do the work yourself. As far as getting a custom database for your business, I think you will have to hire someone to make it for you.

If your looking to really into making a database I could recommend Xampp - Keeps SQL datatbase information all on a USB key if you want. I find it really handy - If you wanted me to set up the webpages to process the information.....I might be up to it. Just leave me a message.
