why in the hell is MLB now got a problem...a huge problem with Maple bats? are they claiming they give hitters an unfair advantage by being harder wood er something? what the hell is this story even about? anyone got info on it?

 It actually already happened in a game involving the pirates! The coach was hit by a piece when it broke in last weekends game! His cheek is still swelled up!

a coach at a dogers Pittsburgh game got hit in the dugout by a broken maple bat last week. Hit him in the cheek....severed nerves in his face. Maple is harder that ash..thus it shatters instead of cracking.
