Ok so The Big Bang is now regaurded by the church as the most "reasonable" explination for the creation of the universe.

Also beleiveing in aliens are ok.

It is rather interesting. Of course THE CHURCH will do anything to maintain its position and control.

you have reached a point of enlightment way above regular people, so there is no control over you from the Church.

Something I won't ever understand is why people who are not catholic suffer that much about the Church. If you are not a catholic you would give a dime about what the Pope and the Church in general say.
The same way I don't give dime about what the mormoms say. (nothing against the mormoms it was the first name that came into my mind).

You are right that the Church has no control over me or over most individuals. The control the Church has is over world governments and the power they yield with their wealth and from the number of their followers.



I guess because they (governments) consider (and claim) the Pope to be the top spiritual leader of the entire world ... still.

Don't ask me why. Probably because of the enormous wealth and power he (and the Church itself) yields, rather real or imagined.

The Church is closely aligned with the Crown, secret societies, governments, and own massive amounts of property, all which goes unchecked because of its non profit status.

There is also a company (The Crown) that goes completely unchecked and is above the law that is closely connected with the church. These are some of the wealthy who seek world domination.

There are several different groups who constantly fight for power and control.



You don't see much media coverage over what the mormans say or any other religious leader either. But when the Pope speaks, its all over the news.

You just have a partial knowledge dear one.
You have an idea which is anachronic which does not go according to the actual times.
The idea of the Church and government together as an idea valid centuries ago in the days of emperors and kings.
You just know what the media let you see.
I know the Church from inside and from its very grounds.
In some third world countries like my home. The Church is the only thing some people have. People who don't even have for breakfast, lunch, or dinner because the governmen don't care.
Therefore, dear lady you are not in a position whatsoever to judge the Church in the way you are doing it. In order to render such a judgment you need to know things from inside out. and obviously you don't.
As usual love and peace for you.

I am sure the Church does a lot of good things, but I am also sure that it is a long way from being perfect. "Evil" loves to hide under the cover of the Church. It does not mean that the Church itself is evil.

Yep that's for sure. But it likes to hide in the most unlikely places.

Little evil would be done in the world if evil never could be done in the name of good.
