At about the age of 15 or so, you know what you are doing...can't do the time, don't do the crime.

if we think from a human point of view I can have two perspectives:
- They are kids they should not be locked with adults, but - in some cases they have committed such a heinous crimes that nothing that may happen to them in jail could be worse than what they have already done. |

It is a proven fact that the teenage brain is not fully developed.
And if they weren't criminals when they went to an adult facility, they will be when they get out. JMO |

if a kid wants to act like a adult and do adult crimes, they need to be treated like a adult..they need to have committed some serious crime to be tried like a adult.

It is a proven fact that the teenage brain is not fully developed. And if they weren't criminals when they went to an adult facility, they will be when they get out. JMO Around the age of 8 up until one is about 13-14 their mind starts developing who they will be in the coming years, after that they have decided it. Therefore I think 14-15 is a good age range to try a child as an adult for an adult crime. |
