In that song, "We're an American Band," There is a line in the song I can't quite understand..."Hauling Chaquitas in Omaha?"
HUH? 
Can anyone else figure out what is meant by this? It makes absolutely no sense in the song!! |

Yeah, but I don't remember the "two dudes who met us in Omaha"...sounds like someone was driving a truck filled with Chaquita bananas through Omaha.....

Four young chaquitas in omaha, Was waitin for the band to return from the show. Feelin good, feelin right, its saturday night, The hotel detective -- he was out-a-sight. Now, these fine ladies, they had a plan, They was out to meet the boys in the band. They said, come on, dudes, lets get it on, And we proceeded to tear that hotel down. Mystery solved....thanks for your help everyone! No trucking with bananas in this song! LOL!
