just had surgery yesterday for 2 total knee replacements
 she is doing very well tho but she's in a lot of pain of course. Has anyone been thru anything like that or helped someone who has? Any advice you can give so I can help make her a little more comfortable would be great. Thanks |

Yea my gram had that done, she actually went and stayed at rehab facility, because non of us could keep up with her needs, i wish her a speedy recovry and the best of luck to you jill

just be there for her and help the healing process until she can get back on her feet.i means alot to know love futher the healing alot sooner
|

My father went through it...it is very painful. She will need lots of rest!!! She will recover though, give it time.
Oh yeah did she get one of the machines from the hospital that pumps ice cold water around her knee?

Thanks HOPE SHE RECOVERS QUICKLY IT IS PAINFUL A LADY ON THIS SITE HAD HERS DONE 2 WEEKS AGO AND POSTED PICTURES NOT A PRETTY SIGHT. JUST RELAX AND LIFT HER SPIRITUALLY AS IT TAKES QUITE A WHILE TO HEAL AS PEOPLE HAVING THAT DONE ARE OLDER FOLKS. WISH YOU PATIENCE AND SPEEDY RECOVERY TO HER. |

My grandmother had one knee done and had it redone around the time Hurricane Rita came though. A week after surgery we were cramped in a minivan trying to get out of dodge. Just be patient, let her know you're there for her.
