Topic: What type of girl....

This weekend is my girlfriends birthday, and so wanted to go and have some fun. So we decided to go and see some strippers this weekend. So Monday another girlfriend invited me to lunch and of cause the topic was what to buy our friend..I ask if she was going to be coming with us this weekend..........'OH NOOOOOOO IM NOT THAT TYPE OF A GIRL!! '. I was about to take a bite of my pizza, and stopped...Hummm 'What type of a girl is that then'. I asked, 'IM NOT THE TYPE TO DO THAT, I DONT GO TO CLUBS OR BARS OR ANTYHING LIKE THAT IM NOT THAT TYPE!!' ..So I asked again, 'And what type is that , like me type or our other friends type'.I dont go out that much maybe , maybe every 3 months or so and it made me mad...So again I ask the question ..What type!!!...........

Not the type of girl that goes to clubs. Neither am I. So what? It takes all kinds. If my friends were going to a club I would not go. But I don't hang out with people who go to clubs. They are not my type. See how it works?

Oh for God's sake just take her! She is so full of it!!! Everybody love's a good strip show. They are just for fun. Hell, my mother went to one with my sister's when I was a cocktail waitress at a nightclub. She'll have fun.

Nothing wrong with "mixing" types. Everyone likes something different. Personally though, I think I would have taken offense to someone saying that to me, especially a friend.

I don't like smoke, I don't like to be around people who drink, I don't like the whole bar scene. It doesn't mean I am frigid.

Just because someone doesn't enjoy the same things you do doesn't mean they think they are better than you. Shouldn't she be entitled to decide what she likes to do, or does she have to like the same things that you do? If you were a friend you would respect the differences.
