Meth cooks are getting exchange propane tanks from places like Wal-Mart,

Kroger, etc. and emptying them of the propane. Then, they are filling them

with anhydrous ammonia (which they now have a recipe for by the way). After

they are finished with them, they return them to the store. They are then

refilled with propane and sent back for you and me to buy. Anhydrous

ammonia is very corrosive and weakens the structure of the tank. It can be

very dangerous when mixed with propane and hooked up to our grills, etc.

You should inspect the propane tank for any blue or greenish residue around

the valve areas. If it is present, refuse to purchase that one.

You should check out the following website for more details. They also have

pictures you can show.

They have been stealing anhydrous ammonia around here for years from the farmers. They used to be kinda honest about it and leave a hundred dollars so the farmer may not sau anything. They carried it off in whatever they could get it in. It is very dangerous. The idiot ones would sometimes leave it running or dripping when they left. That is when it got reported at last.

I would sure be careful if that is the case here. It is so dangerous of a chemical (meth), no telling what the effects would be cooked in your food.
They make you either tear down a structure where it was made or tear it out before anyone can live there again.
People started making it in their cars while driving down the roads and using old barns.
