I am proud of you for the fact that you work and support yourself
through honest labor and that you don't have your hand out looking for
something free. You have every right to be proud of what you do. No
one should be judged by the work they do. I once told a Company VP who
made a disparaging remark about the fact that I was wearing blue jeans
on the job that he would be better served if he was more concerned with
what was holding my ears apart rather than what was covering my butt.

If you like what you do, it really doesn't make any difference what
anybody else thinks. You are who you are, not what you do. Lots of
people get stuck in jobs they can't stand, so if you have one you like,
even if it isn't something other people think of as their "cup of tea"
or whatever, stick with it. You're not obligated to please anyone else
with your choice of employment....

Your occupation doesn't make you who you are. If you're happy with it,
than that is all that matters. Be proud of who you are and tell others
who don't like it where to go... politely and with a smile of course.

Like the name by the way,,, I washed dishes for 6 years along with
working in an office,,, I enjoyed my job as a dishwasher.
Be proud of who you are for it is the person inside that matters, not
what we choose to do for a living,,, If they dont life what you do, then
they are not True Friends,,, Denise flowerforyou

a job is a job....why would anyone care what you do?? I get and got all
kinds of comments when I would disclose my former job, and I still
do...I simply tell them if it were not for people like me then the dead
would be littering the streets. So next time someone says something rude
to you about your job tell em to piss off because with out you they
would have no clean dishes to eat off of in the restaurants and other
places

shan. you barely do dishes at home.you know why i as your boarder do
not.for everyone elsethis is the truth.my first wife was so much of a
control freak that when i tried to do dishes i got hit repeatedly.the
police would do nothing about it at all.so i now live in fear of being
hit if i try to wash dishes.
