I write poems almost every day,
some have been published,
I worked as a computer repair tech for 6 years,
never missed an appointment,
drove 300 to 400 miles a day,
never got into a wreck,
never got pulled over,
repaired every computer I worked on,
never lost any parts,
got more business as I went,
held my own tech location,
paid my own way,all my bills,
put my daughter through school,
was a carpenter for 17 years,
a security specialist in the U.S.A.F.


and smoked weed,
at about an ounce a week,
if it was around,
didn't freak out if I was out,
never killed,mugged,or raped anybody...

was only married once...
my daughter is grown,
and still married to the same man
I'm a Grandfather of 4 wonderful kids!
and I trust in God...

it does kill braincells, it is also inhaling carcineogyns wich is what
gives you smoke inhalation deprives the brain of oxygen.it sapped my
motivation for many years wich is why i quit smoking weed and quit
smoking cigerettes you might not feel stupid but it sure is heck aint
good for ya and yes i used to think the same way as you but that was my
addiction to it talking and realizing that yes i was addicted really
made me take a hard look at myself and realize what i was
doing.addiction is a disiese that changes the chemical makeup in your
brain and it isnt easy.i see people smoking weed and cigerettes all day
everyday and it is very difficult to stay off of it but i am staying
clean for me my son and everyone else who cares for me.it might not make
you feel stupid but it did make me feel stpid and slower than i do now
and thats why i stopped.

while high I passed the odd one I took while sober I failed. I believe
that I think better after a joint.

i wasnt ripping on the canibas sativa or indica plant yes the do have
theyre uses.i was just saying smoking it isnt right for me anymore.if
its what you like to do good for you. i personally dont need it in my
life you know.if i want a new job most anymore require drug screening
for insurance purposes and marijuana is still a controlled substance.

and people are killed every day by drunk drivers,
some of them are on company time,in a company vehicle...

to each their own,
but adults in AMERICA should have it legally,
like booze,same laws if operating motor vehicls,
same fines,
no sales to minors...ect.

Hey, back in the day I smoked the hell out of it. Back in the '70s when
pot was pot. It wasn't laced with God only knows what. Having said that,
it's not "good" for you; inhaling smoke is not healthy, I don't care
what the source. And, after having drank, smoked (both cigs and pot) and
taken a variety of drugs (rarely, but still...) over the course of 30
years, and having quit some 3.5 years ago, I can tell you, I'll take
being straight ANY day over being high. It may not make one "stupid,"
but it sure doesn't contribute any to one's level of intelligence.

Well I really cannot comment here. I never been there or done that so, I
guess all I can say is that this is a free world. We are responsible for
our own actions and consequences to those actions.

yeah its not free like that anymore insurance companies have the
lawmakers by the balls. hell cigerette smoking is going to be outlawed
before pot is ever legalized and its the truth i know they just made it
illegal to smoke out doors and in resterants in philladelphia.cant even
smoke in the park anymore .

hey--it happens everywhere--the bars, the resturants--or anyplace except
some place where ya can as long they furnish ashtrays--outside the
buildin'---

makes ya wonder when the government,
is gonna put us all on a leash?

or cameras in our homes...

they are already tapping our phones,
and scanning our mail,and patrolling our emails...

are we gonna get taxed for farting now?
