When we were kids
we were young and free,
and time seemed endless
stood still you see.

We played and romped forever
and had our times with girls,
throwing mud,sticks and toys
and even played with girls curls.

We laughed,we yelled
put tacks on teachers chair,
pulled pranks beyond belief
but at times were sure got scared.

Like when a ghost would appear
on Halloween night,
and when it floated by
Wow,what a spooky sight!

When we were kids
memories so long ago,
we thought time was forever
as it proceeded ever so slow.

But those times are gone
and will never ever return,
the knowledge and the wisdom
are things we did learn.
