I usually go to my Account and jump in the recent posts. If one really catches my interest I go back and check on it. If you reply to one that did not really catch my interest I may never see your reply. It's just the way I operate.

There are maybe a dozen people who I feel the need to read everything they write. A few others I follow a bit less stringently. Forum-wise, I'm all over the place, except I tend to stay away from the ones I have absolutely no interest in (Cooking, Parenting). Of course I may end up going there if I run across an abuse report, but abuse reports are very rare in those particular forums. No, dammit, you ignorant @#$#@#@ it's 8 minutes for the perfect hard boiled egg!!!

I have trouble clicking on a topic if there are major misspellings in the title; or it the title is all in caps. I also avoid topics of certain posters...or if certain people are the last to post.
I am trying to avoid getting irritated. This is my plan. It's working so far. |
