I was once engaged to a millionaire... I hated the fact that he had that kind of money (as well as his entire family) because it made them all feel superior. I ended the relationship because I knew I would not be happy. Money cannot and will not buy you love or happiness...

Oh it was hard to let him go because I loved him dearly.. but I just knew I had to let him go...

Peoples financial situations change...I would expect that my love would stand steady through any hardship. I will never say "for better or for worse" unless I plan to stand by that.
Then again, I would not date a 40 year old man who lives in his mothers basement and drinks beer all day...he could be a millionaire down there, but I would not believe he was ready for a relationship or cared much about life. It's the behavior that would bother me more than anything. |
