Hi CAT. I take it that you are working tomorrow too. I had to do evening and night shift plus all 3 shifts at times on weekends plus all holidays. It was that way for the first 25 yrs I was with the company, after 25 you could then pick what you wanted to work.

We are in the season where it rains almost every day. Either in the mornings or the afternoons. Often its a 20 min thing but sometimes as long as an hour and a half. Just depends which system is stronger - the clouds that roll in from the east coast or the ones that roll in off of the gulf. when it starts here it doesn't just last for a hr or so, it lasts and lasts and lasts

Oh, I know. Pa was the same way. When it started, it could rain for - days.

Yeppers it's my weekend to work...have to work next weekend too (but only because I traded with the other cook on my shift) he needed that weekend off and I needed the 26 and 27th off. Wish I could pick the hours I wanted.

Well, most everyone here loves the rain as it fills the lakes, rivers and eventually the aquafers (sp). As it is we are constantly on water restrictions.

CAT, fortunately or unfortunately - depending on ones point of view (hehe), we could not walk down to the power room and flip a breaker and turn off 'dial tone' at 5 pm and everyone go home. LOL
