We live in Houston - I'd prefet to go somewhere comfortable and cool, but she wants a pool.

Suggestions?

She's 6 and will do almost anything - she's pretty easy to please. I just am sick of this HEAT - I was thinking we should stay in the states since I don't have her passport yet, but aside from that I'm pretty open.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. A Disney cruise could be nice, Legoland in San Diego is great, Hershey Park in PA, A beach vacation, Williamsburgh VA...

I think the best place to take a little girl is Chincoteage & Assateauge Islands in Virginia. A National seashore with wild ponies. Read "Misty of Chincoteage" by Margarite Henry to her. It can be hot, but do like the ponies & get in the ocean!

Ledi does she like to read? There is a series of books about the ponies, & even a movie.

Ledi & TA nice to "meet" you both. flowerforyou

I was born & raised on the Eastern Shore of MD. The history & beaches make the Mid Atlantic region a great place to vacation. Hershy Park is great, it's also very close to Gettysburg & the Amish country. The Strausburg Railroad is a great kid adventure, you can ride a historic train.
