Hi all, I stumbled on this site a few days ago and decided to hang
around awhile and see if I can make some friends. Any teachers out
there? I'd love to hear from you; sometimes it's nice to hear about
someone elses adventures besides just my own...

Now more teachers in the neighborhood?????
Did somebody spread the word on how hard a job it is?
No one mentioned how rewarding it can be????

Misty, I teach Math to 8th graders so I share your pain every day.
Oceanblue, are you at the middle school level also

I am so glad there are other teachers here, I was loosing hope when I
would check back and not see any replies. Anyway, it's great to meet
both of you....

SAID HI ON SOME THREADS, AND WAITED TO BE FOUND.
WHILE I WAS WAITING THOUGHT I'D SPEAK ON MY VIEWS
ONE LEAD TO ANOTHER AND ANOTHER, AND FOUND OUT GOOD NEWS'
THE PEOPLE HERE WERE SO SINCERE AND GAVE ME STRENGTH TO PURSUE
STARTED MY SEARCH AND CLICKING ON SOME PROFILES TO GO THROUGH

I am a retired teacher. 32 years worth. Would I like to go back? Pull
out my fingernails first. HAHA To be fair, I did teach in one of the
worse schools in America. But, hey, I got out alive. HAHA

Hey does teaching a man how to love count as me being a teacher?

I taught world history and world geography at the high school lever and
then I became the educator at the zoo here and taught there for six
years.. Boy I bet I have stories we could share.. I had the kids with
probation officers and ankle trackers if that tells you anything. But
you know what most of them turned out to be great kids that had made bad
choices... Would love to talk though.
