this is weird. I thought i was a normal mother of three that did not think about younger guys. my teenage daughter was with me in the car when i saw a guy without his shirt in mowing the grass. after I passed him by i just had to look in the rearview mirror, I slammed the car up on the sidewalk and screeched back out onto the road. The kids were screaming and my daughter crawled down in the floorboard to hide and said aw Mom ur sick!! I was so embarrassed!ohwell blushing glasses

That is quite funny! I'm sure if the guy you were looking at knew he'd have been flattered. I've had my share of distractions from looking at women while driving my car, but thus far, I've not hit anything as a result.happy

I'm pretty convinced that "young" is a temporary fix at best. bigsmile

I dated younger for a bit when I became single. I seemed to have young men please apply flashing on my forehead or something. They were fun and I enjoyed the time together but when they started to get serious that is when I had a problem. They always said they were not looking for something serious but then changed up during the relationship. I found that I had to be hurtful and I did not like that. So I don't date younger anymore.

Some of these younger guys had it together better than some of the older guys I had dated. Jobs and buying homes, etc... They were headed somewhere but I could not see me trying to keep up with them say ten years from now when they were in their prime and I was getting old. Plus I cannot have children anymore and I believe they would eventually want children even though they said it did not matter.

I'm divorced and back in the dating pool and I find younger guys fully functional and wonderfully creative. Guys my age and older seem to have some functioning problems and they are all so bitter and full of baggage.

But then I don't ask much of the younger ones except a good time and that might be the key. Women peak in the 40's and I can keep up with any of the 20 year olds that way:)

Rule of thumb, don't date anyone younger than your children or older than your parents.

I think I would have to narrow the scope, but all in all, I think that's a pretty good rule! drinker smokin flowerforyou

doesn't it depend on the guy.. some guys in the 50's act like they're 20, and then there's guys in there 30's and 40's who act older.. again, depends on the guy.
I'm not looking for someone in there 20's.. but 40's, no problem
