I was at worked today and was asked to help Cashier and ring people up to lower the lines no problem right. Well this girl freaked out just about and wanted to cancel her whole order because she was about to charge what she was buying with her mom's credit card.

So I had to call one of the maanagers over to see what could be done. Funny thing was she was about to walk away even after everything was paid for.. she goes I don't want it just forget about it.. my manager goes you can't just walk off you paid for it etc, trying to tell her she could voide it out and credit back and then redo it if that's what she wanted done, but needless to say she signed for it and took her stuff and left.

My manager thanked me for being so patient.

I was thinking to my self well there wasn't noting more for me to do other then being understanding and patient.

Just kinda left me wondering why this girl had her mom card unless her mom okayed her to be a co signer on the same card, I'm not sure of any one or body else that can use it, but I guess it can be done none the less.

I was just glad to get out of work, to many crazy people etc.

In fact I didn't noticed which is my first time doing so.. a customer left with out the other half of her order.. kinda crazy because she / he paid for it already.. made me feel a little bad but I know it could have happened to any body else, I just hope that person comes back to get there stuff etc.

I have worked in those fields for many years..Alot of people forget the things they came and paid for. You will see alot more of it as your years pass. Trust me, you will see alot of things that will make you stop and think.

Retail is an interesting job. I worked in a store for over ten yrs as a manager. I did my share of back-up cashiering. People will argue with you over a penny. I just always go w/ the customer is always right- even though you know they aren't. Those stores make enough money to keep the customer happy.
I also had enough nice, kind and patient customers to make up for the crazy and rude ones.
Keep smiling. You never know why people are in a bad mood- could have just lost a loved one or found out they had cancer or something.

I don't think it matters what state a person lives in, there are crazy people every where.
