It is said a poet’s soul feels the pain,
It is said a poet’s heart is in his words,
It is said a poet’s touch can be felt,
It is said a poet’s love is forever,
It is said a poet’s cry is forever heard,
It is said a poet’s smile is different,
It is said a poet needs inspiration,
It is said a poet needs pain,
It is said a poet’s needs are different,
It is said a poet loves like no other,
It is said a poet is forever lonely,
It is said a story of a poet is forever,

It is said,

Many things have been told of the poet,
Many truths are of the poet,
Many hopes of the poet,
Many dreams are the poets.
Many stories are of the poet.

Today this poet rests,
Knowing the stories of pain,
Stories of the heart,
Can be touched
When his longing for Love,
Heard within his cry from the dawn of time,
Heard by one who is different from the rest.

Pains in his words fade,
Love in his heart Grows,
Loneliness disappears.

His story of forever,
Coming alive in his words,
Spoken to understanding friends.
Fulfillment,
Knowing His life is no longer just a story.

It is said A Poet will Forever
Remember his Friends,
Within the Stories he Tells.

Remember Me in the Stories,
Stories of Friends found,
Stories of Love Found,
Stories of what a Poet said.
