I think setting the mood for sex may be more important for woman than
man. Is there anything that you really like to create ambience for a
romantic evening? Candles, low-lighting, Barry White?

Do men like to be romanced too? Or just grabbed?

again that depends on that person. My husband likes the go get it stuff
and the romantic stuff.I noticed it depends on what kind of day he has
too.Sometimes I want to skip all the foreplay and romance and got
straight to it and sometimes I won't do anything without the
romance.Again the individual makes the difference.

I think that setting the mood for sex can be very inviteing. A nice
candle lit dinner can set the mood just right. However thier are other
times where passion can take over and true love can explode from two
people, and can physically take over the moment.

creating mood for sex is important, not just for women but men to.at
least me.role playing is always a good start.a spicy relationship is a
healthy relationship.there is always something you can do to create for
that mood.it doesn`t even have to be planned.just enjoy.i am a die hard
romantic who loves a great massage as i love to give them.a nice rub
down for each of the partners with lotion sure can get you in the mood.

i had to come back here and continue what i started.going back to
reuwen`s quesion.a bottle of wine, soft music and dim lights are
wonderful.but walking the beach, talking, and laying on the sand under the
stars has to be a beutifull setting for romance.creating a romantic
evening shouldn`t always have to be planned.a spurr of a moment romantic
evening can also be amazing.i love to be romanced

i guess surprise is part of the deal.

having your partner do something unexpected, like maybe tie you up and
beat you is kinda interesting.
but i guess that might be because i'm a fairly dominant person...

I guess all men in long term relationship will sooner or later want to
cut to the chase. The sex life on my ex and I took a downward twist when
I worked to many hours at work(a few weeks of 90 hours and nearly all 72
hours). I was to tired to give the effort in romance and had the
physical needs.

Sometimes you are just talking and things heat up. Other times you need
to work on it. I dislike giving gifts to try and get the other in the
mood. To me it is saying I want to buy your love. But simple surprises
are the best. Slip into the shower with her before bed time. Light
insence or candles and have your favorite type music on for the
occassion. Sometime morning sexual encounters are the best. Wake her up
with breakfast in bed. Many other times it is doing the small things
like breakfast in bed that rewards you later in the day/night. Never
take your love for granted is the main thing. Show them as often as you
can how much they mean to you. Even if she is mad and crying over a
fight/arguement you had cuddle her up and let her know you love her. All
long term couples have arguements.

Rocky, you have too much muscels for massaging. The woman will get tired
from massaging...
