Topic: Quik Draw Obama!! | |

SPRINGFIELD, Mo - Democatic presidential contender Barack Obama said Wednesday his Republican rival "thinks we're on the right track," drawing a chorus of boos from a swing state audience vocal about the status quo.
"These anxieties seem to be growing with each passing day," Obama said on a campaign swing in this economically ailing battleground state. "We can either choose a new direction for our economy or we can keep doing what we've been doing. My opponent, John McCain, thinks we're on the right track." "We don't need the same old tired answers," Obama said. "We need something new." Obama said McCain will resort to tired Republican charges that he's a big-spending liberal, arguing his tax cut plans are aimed at the middle class. "I want to cut taxes for middle-class families, ordinary folks who are working hard and playing by the rules," he said. He compared himself to western legend Wild Bill Hickock, who he said fought a duel in Springfield. "I'm ready to duel John McCain on taxes right here, quick draw," said Obama. That drew a quick retort from a McCain aide. "If Barack Obama wants this so-called duel then why did he and his entourage run for the hills when John McCain challenged him to 10 town halls," said McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds. Obama responded after shaking hands at a restaurant in Lebanon. "I don't hear very much positive from Sen. McCain," he said. "He seems to be only talking about me. You need to ask John McCain what he's for not just what he's against." He told a crowd of 1,200 in Rolla, Mo., that the country can't keep doing the same things and expect a different results. "That's a definition of madness, but that's what John McCain is offering. He's offering Bush economic policies and Karl Rove politics," Obama said. After a weeklong overseas trip to burnish his foreign policy credentials, Obama has been working overtime to focus on the economy and overcoming doubts voters may have about the first black man to make a serious bid for the White House. "It's a leap, electing a 46-year-old black guy named Barack Obama," he said, adding that the message Republicans have for voters is simple: "He doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bill." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080730/ap_on_el_pr/obama http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/32-07302008-1570428.html |

BARACK HUSAINE OBAMA will NEVER make it to the White House! If you're going to 'spit' calumniuous (derogatory (not true nor edifying) falsehoods about others) idiosies of the worst primitive kind, couldn't use a dictionary, a friend whom can spell, or your mother, whom out of respect to her, must have a better education than you have. By the way, 10$ says you can't spell the singular form of 'racists' and 'bigots'!!! |

Could you expand volumes on the wisdom, which you hide so well? I can't wait for your response. Thank you advance. |

I've been noticing the meetings he's been attending, the issues being addressed, and who he's been talking with at these meetings. Barrack is getting a head-start on the very issues that the next President will face in America. The very issues Americans will have to face when Bush leaves! He's not shying away from anything now, as a candidate, and I dont suspect he will shy away from them once he is in office. He is doing more for America as a candidate than GWB is as President! I ask, as Obama suggested to ask, What is John McCain going to do? Better yet, What is John McCain doing now? |

haha Meanwhile the McCain camp puts out an ad blaming Obama for high fuel costs.
Damn, all this time I thought it had something to do with aging gas plants, war profiteering, price speculation, increasing demand globally, along with dozens of other reasons. Thanks Mccain for showing me it was Obama all along. As for liberals being big spending big government types...look at the last eight years...obscene spending, massively larger government and a deficit that is hard to conceive of it is so large. Wake up and quit voting against your own self-interests. The definition of madness: doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting a different result. |
