I should have understood.

There you were one day.

I told you I come here to write.
You seemed so polite.
All the words you said right.

I have a mind of my own.
I might be alone.
Maybe I’m prone.
But I have known.

Ones like you.
That will pursue.
And try to subdue.
There are women that have no clue.

But honey you choice me.
People that really know me will agree.
Don’t ever try to take me on a spree.
This woman will not plea.

You told me to trust.
That it was a must.
But money was your lust.
Don’t hold your breath for you will bust.
