Seriously, all this rambling about how Palin needs to be a good mom and stay at home with her family because they obviously need help...

why aren't people saying the same thing about the Obamas?

He's running for President...Michelle works...where is the parenting there? Or is this just because neither of them are old enough to make adult mistakes?

Obamas kids don't have downs syndrome and aren't pregnant.

And really for me its not about her being a woman. It's about her saying on national TV that she dosent even know what the VP does. Its about her saying she dosent pay attention to the Iraq war. Its about McCain choosing her simply because shes a woman.
Most of all It's about her social politics. She needs to keep her own house in order before she starts aiding the choice of supreme court justices who want to take the civil liberties out of my house.

that said she did a good job in her speech. she will be a problem for my side.

However, she must be stopped.

Obama is 47. Does he need to be geriatric to be considered a Presidential Candidate?

NO. Bill Clinton was not Geriatric. And brought our country out of a recession if you can't recall look it up. Then good ole' George came along and our economy is getting flushed down the toilet again. After years of hard work Bill put in turning our economy around.

You can dig cracks on any Candidate or former President. But did they help you live your life easier? So you tell me about Obama and his age, and his experience ok. Get to typing because I am...
________

In October 2002, before being elected to the U.S. Senate, Barack Obama made a speech opposing the Bush Administration's plan to go to war in Iraq because he felt it was an ill-conceived venture which would "require a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undermined cost, with undetermined consequences." To set a new course for U.S. policy that can bring a responsible end to the war, Senator Obama introduced the Iraq War De-escalation Act in January 2007. He opposes funding for the war in Iraq that does not immediately begin the responsible removal of our troops from Iraq, with a clear timeline and end-date for this drawdown.

Foreign Policy
As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Obama has fought to strengthen America's position in the world by reaching across the aisle in an effort to prevent nuclear terrorism and weapons proliferation, stop the genocide in Darfur, and reduce global poverty.

Environment
As a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee in the 109th Congress, Senator Obama worked to ensure our nation's environmental laws and policies balance America's needs for a healthy, sustainable environment with economic growth. He will continue to push for sound environmental policies with his colleagues in the 110th Congress.

Education
As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, Senator Obama is committed to providing every American with the opportunity to receive a quality education from pre-kindergarten to college or vocational school to job retraining programs.

Veterans
As a member of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, Senator Obama is committed to helping the heroes who defend our nation today and the veterans who fought in years past.

Ethics and Lobbying Reform

Throughout his political career, Barack Obama has fought for open and honest government. As an Illinois State Senator, he helped pass the state’s first major ethics reform bill in 25 years. And as a U.S. Senator, he has spearheaded the effort to clean up Washington in the wake of numerous scandals.

Speeches
Obama: Culture in Washington Must Change, Implement Tough Ethics Reform
August 2, 2007

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) today delivered the following remarks on the Senate floor in support of the Honest Government and Leadership Act. This legislation would provide increased transparency and accountability, reduce the influence of lobbyists and special interests, and bring about the concrete changes we need in Washington. In January, Obama joined with Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) to introduce Lobbying and Ethics Reform Act, which set a standard for strong ethics legislation this Congress.

There are so many other speeches but that one was suffice,

yes, I could go on and on.... yes so apparently he is adult enough. He is adult enough to fight for your rights in congress, and anywhere else he needs to because it is what he does.

I am not typing emotionally on Obama, I am typing factually.-- I quoted exactly what was stated. Go see for yourself that is all word for word from the U.S. Senate website.

Only a one word response to this propaganda and it's Obama's most common voting response; "Present."

I guess you had a point-?

Now I don't know if that was neg. or pos. and,

I don't choose nor want to try and figure out what you are going for with that comment. Nor do I appreciate you quoting me, and adding a sentence in the middle of my post.
Repaste with a response after the initial quote is suffice. Clarity should be a prime objective when quoting someone.

Factual based comments/posts are actually more effective when addressing/responding to me.

Taking a complete emotional stand only gives me an idea of why now----

You are deemed as not worthy of any further reviews from me.

Cheers-

Whew, I got another Republicrats forehead veins bulging out this morning! Yes! My point is the entire post made about Obama is wrought with generalities with no definitve actions or accomplishments. So propaganda, is what it is! Better fit for a Red Chinese newspaper! You contradict yourself demanding facts by presenting none yourself.

Not to worry about Obama's future though. He'll make a good voice for use in Hollywood movie trailers after he loses to Nader!

I feel sooooooooooo unworthy!

I think that putting her on the ticket is an insult to women. He thinks that we are that stupid.

Hey Winx,

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps McCain put Palin on the ticket not to court votes from the Democrats but from his own party? Come on, Winx--the choice was for his party not for the other one. In other words, he doesn't think you are "that stupid" it's just that his choice wasn't about you. By the way, what exactly is it about her that is insulting to women? She would be the first woman Vice President in the history of this republic---how exactly is the second in command to the Executive branch an "insult?"

-Drew

While it would be a great thing to have a woman as a President or Vice President, I would never vote for someone just because she's a woman.

I agree.
