September 4, 2008 Sun-Times News Group TINLEY PARK -- An autopsy is slated for Thursday for an elderly woman who died Wednesday after her clothes caught fire in Tinley Park more than a week ago. Mary Frogner, 79, of XXXX 165th Pl. in Tinley Park, was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday, a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said. Firefighters responded on Aug. 23 at 8:22 a.m. to the 165th Place address, Tinley Park Fire Chief Ken Dunn said. Apparently, the fire started when Frogner, who was on oxygen, was smoking. Her clothing caught on fire and the people in the house -- reportedly her relatives -- put the fire out, Dunn said. The fire did not damage the house and no one else was injured. ---------------------- Another danger of simply breathing... This happened in my hometown(not where I live), about 3 blocks from where I was raised. Sully.. |
