The Mayans predict that something will change not that the world will end. Every supposed "ending" prophecy the Mayans had had more to do with change not endings. They predicted the rise and fall of nations that hey never had contact with. Maybe it is the fall of America and the beginning of a new empire. I know my aunt and cousins and uncles are Mayans and can read Mayan and speak it.  that's awesome! |

i wouldn't think so but why would their calendar END on that date? these were a people obsessed with time, and they were able to predict planetary events thousands of years into the future with amazing accuracy. 2012 marks the shift of our planet in the solar system from pisces into aquarius, this happens about every 26,000 yrs. could this cause a pole shift...plate movement...ice age? the sun has been doing funky stuff lately too...maybe a solar flare will purge this planet? or, will there be a shift in global conciousness? gawd, if only! lol
