DAY TO DAY


Look again, in my direction.
Youll find me still alone.
No one to share the smallest things,
I dont even have a phone.

Going through my daily motions,
existing for,it seems,no reasons.
Nothing changes, except the time,
from days, to weeks, to seasons.

Doing my best in keeping up,
with social expectations.
Day to day, my heart I hide,
with my funny characterization.

Then days end comes,and I return,
to my solitude.
My only companions,once again,
my dog, the computer, and food.

Everday I know,contains new life,
yet mine seems written in stone.
Just look again in my direction,
and youll find me, still alone.
