I'd like to hear WHY Obama or McCain should be President. Not why either one shouldn't

Can anyone present an argument for their candidate without having to resort to politics of destruction bashing tactics?

just wondering, personally I don't think ya'll can

I'm all for a younger candidate whe understands what it feels like not to have. To feel the pain of "wanting", in whatever form. As well, a person who reasons and defends rather than focusing on who is right. I find that refreshing.

A person who is more pure, but smart enough to know who to ask for guidance. Not the perfect person, but the best choice. I really think this country deserves a change. It can't be worse is how I see it.

And three minutes was SO not enough time!!!laugh

I like that McCain is a Godly man.....I respect all that his family has done serving this country.....I think McCain is real and gives a rats ass about this country. I respect that he wants to go out of the box, mix it up a bit. I like that fact that finally-finally we have someone who is blind to the party crap. I could go on and on but I think you get the jist of it.

I would love to see Ron Paul get voted in. Or any third candidate by that matter. I have been trying to tell people we have two candidates that stand for basically the same thing on the major issues. Ron Paul would campaign like hell to shrink the government and reduce corruption. By eliminating the FED and get congress to back us up you would lower gas prices, the cost of medical bills, and education. That's three birds with one stone.

But anyway, i can't give any reasons for either to be in office. Goodluck finding someone who will. drinker drinker drinker

I am voting for mccain because of his experiance already.
and I think this will enable him to do good in foreign policies which in turn would be good for America.
I also think that Mcain will see the war on TERRORISM to a satisfiable endpoint if possible.

Why would I slam the opposition, that would be negative, wouldn't it?

But I guess it's just like Lincoln said:

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.

Some people are never satisfied with the answer you give, that is, unless it fits their preconceived notions and bias.

Considering what this country has suffered in the last 8 years, Obama is the best man for the job. We do not need another 4 years of the same.

Obama even in his slam ads, which really do not slam like his opponents ads do, he addresses the issues at hand. Obama is refreshing after what we have listened to for the last 8 years, he is more in touch with the people, not just the rich people like his opponent. Obama has actual ideals for a fix to the damage done by his predecessor, his opponent wants the status quo. McCains change means more of the same, no change there.

The only thing the opposition to Obama have are lies to try to run him down.
