This doesn't even count the Billion$ the government has taken on this week to bail out Wall Street. Not exactly "fiscal conservatism..."

"The federal budget is projected to run a $546 billion deficit in 2009, compared with the $710 billion surplus that budget experts projected for 2009 back when President Bush took office nearly eight years ago."

Yes well let's just keep letting DEMS raise taxes & add spending to every budget. That's their be all end all.

Or else why does Corzine keep running to every other state but his own?

DEMs like to complain but they admitted that they haven't a clue as to how to fix the problem. I know they know what they want to do but they dare don't now for that would be political suicide.

NOTHING NEW...DEMS WANT TO RAISE TAXES. THE PROBLEM IS THEY KEEP ADDING SPEDNING ALONG WITH IT??????

That's what they want to do. They are just being sneaks about it (that's being polite about it.)

Again... I repeat myself for the slow on the uptake... Republicans are completely irresponsible as they spend the money, but gutlessly don't collect taxes to pay their way.
