sometimes I stop
paying attention
to the world around me
the faith and fear
I thought I had
disappears
but when the noise
becomes too loud
when the sound of tears
becomes too subdue
the world envelops me
in their sorrowful arms
death and war breaking
an already broken heart
my frighten inner child
beside me
but we do not see
we cannot win this war
imploding inside of us
bursting to come out
precious time slipping away
but the days continue on
their ordinary way

droplets of time
you are are still cloud
your storm has yet
many gusts
to become
a downpour

faith and fear
cannot touch you
be strong
there is no war
no need to fight
at all

put the frightened inner child in your lap and have a talk- amazing as always
