ok. ill have to look up where it is, i believe at the end of Luke. he
said to his deciples: "since you have been with me, have you wanted for
anything?' "NO MASTER," they replied. "Im leaving now, so then go and
sell your shirt if you have to and buy a sword."
who was it that cut off the ear of one of thr roman guards sent to
arrest him? Peter i think. obviously they were carrying swords. The
deciples carrying swords? wont hear that sermon in any church ive
seen.... hmmmmm
LUKE 22 VERSE 35 THRU 38

if u read on jesus is trying to end the violence not start more read
verses 50 to 51 in the same chapter

he sends peter and john to prepare a passover (dinner) so that he may
eat with them before he suffers. luke 22 verse 8 thats some kind of love
knowing that u have been betrayed an still eat an love them i dont know
anyone including myself with that kind of heart.

....the point im trying to make here is that Jesus was not opposed to
being armed, unlike what a lot of christians have been led to believe.
The sword can be wielded for close in combat, not unlike a handgun.
Unlike a handgun, it never runs out of bullets and makes a decent club.
