nahhhh her or McCain or Obama will still be puppets of their party and neither will really be allowed to act without their machine's approval

EDIT: I'm not convinced that it matters who wins. this is really a battle between the great social-progressive machine and the great neocon machine and neither will allow the other to actually accomplish anything

gridlock

that is the name of the game

laugh She certainly is no Hillary. Sarah Palin makes a good mascot for McCain campaign but I honestly cant see the old man having her doing anything but ceremonial duties as the VP. I think she will be kinda like a second "First Lady".

It is terribly scary and shocking that it is even a real possibility.

Look at this:

McCain is healthy, has a life expectancy of 11 years
and will be undoubtedly have access to the best
health care available in the world. So the chances of
him dying in office are not great.

Palin though certainly was not the strongest choice to
be a successor in the event of McCain's death. But she
is still arguably more qualified to be president than
Obama.

That's scary, yes.

this is the life expectancy at birth.
if you live to be 80 for example then
your life expectancy is not -2.2 years

it changes with age but a 72 year old
can be expected to live on the average
11 more years. longer if in good health
obviously and longer yet with access
to the finest care available.

but you know, improbable things happen...

google life expectancy.

at least she has been a governor. right
now i think the chances are about even
that she will be our VP.

Biden has been in politics for many years. One can see how he has voted on alot of issues over the years.

That impresses me more than someone being Governor of Alaska for 18 mths.

Since OBAMA has even LESS experience, then no one should vote for him. This is a reminder of who "IS" running for PREZ...empty suit OBAMA.

That's a real scarey thought.
