An aide to a Democratic Senator has leaked to the press that there will be a surprise Senate vote on the 700 billion (really up to 5 trillion) Paulson bank bailout package tomorrow. The bill will be considered after sundown Wednesday at the end of the Jewish Rosh Hashanah holiday. Proponents of the bailout feel that they will have an easier time with the 100 member Senate than the had in the house, were the bill was defeated 228 to 205. There will be lots of sweeteners to encourage the passage of the bill know as riders. Democratic leadership hope to pacify Republicans by allowing a small tax cut. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and The White House continue to fear monger about the economy even in the face of the Dow Jones industrial average rising 485 points today, or more than 4½ percent. It was third biggest point gain in the Dow’s history and the biggest percentage climb in the Dow in six years. “Senate Democrats and Republicans believe it is essential that we work quickly on this important legislation to restore confidence to our financial system and strengthen the economy,” said Senate Majority leader Harry Reid. If they railroad the American people, they need to be charged with treason. I honestly will be making calls to Constitutional lawyers I know about, calling for this to begin. |

I am e mailing my senators as soon as the coffee kicks in. This is obscene. The 25 billion the auto industry just got was hardly noticed next to the banking bailout. When will the people see that there is no real money, just the promise of our indentured servitude?

The most obscene part of all of this is the complete and total way they ignored the will of the people.
The way they have assumed that we are all to stupid to actually understand the consequences of this situation we find ourselves in has me mad as hell... and willing to do something about it. I have raised my voice to the congress and senate. I have raised my voice to the president. I have raised my voice to my state government and to as many news services as I could. We shall see what happens with this bill. It still must go from the senate back to the house. What the house does with it will determine my next action. I do not have the fuel to drive to washington. I have packed a backpack... I shall walk there if I must. |

I've also raised my voice, I raised it to my Congressmen, I raised it to my senators, I didn't to this President, he's shown to me that he cares not about the will of the people, but I also raised my voice to my neighbors.
This is B.S., By the people of the people for the people... not anymore, it's for the Criminal elitists, Globalists and corrupt. |
