That's interesting, considering I hadn't ever heard anything like that from actual Muslims, in fact the only time I hear that they hate us for our freedoms, which is the essential point I got from earlier posts, is from people who actually have some kind of bias against muslims.

Hey Bergia, i get ya bro. The Muslims do hate us. This is propoganda spread to them by organizations that have had enough, they therefore bread hate into the hearts of many to get the to join their groups. This has been happening for years. The only problem is the blowback that Warmachine is talking about comes from our aggressive foreign policies. They are sick of us taking things over for them. So now you have extremists hiding behind religion that hate Americans and "what we do".

i have sat witht hem though hon. alot of them hate us because of all the propaganda. im not saying there arent any good ones. far from it, i met alot of them, they liked rock and roll, anime and porn,lol. but the ones were dealing with now dont like us, the ones that do are targeted by the ones who dont like us, and so there we are balls in hand,lol.

But i stand my ground, many hate christians, many are hated by christians. The road of hate is a two way street. But yes, like Bergeia, i have seenboth sides to this spectrum. I have been to htird world countries myself (Iraq, Kuwait), and even chatted with many of them.

SOme are so taken by propoganda that when there is no one else around to hate, they start hating eachother. You should have seen Sadr City (near the Tigres River) and a nift clan they called the Wuhabi. They killed off everyone else in their area of town, and along with a few construction workers trying to put in a sewer system for them. When everyone left there were daily killings in the area.

Muslims are not our enemies, that is brainwashing. Extremists are the enemy of humanity. We have them here in our country, every country has extremists. Ours here are dangerous too. They bomb us too.

You do realize that we have been hated by people in other countries since before we were a country, right? You do realize that hating other countries is common all over the world, right?

This is nothing new. We have made it worse with this administration so we are actually in more danger than we were before Bush but that is besides the point.

The necons use fear to get people to back war. The Libs use fear to get people to pass rediculous bills and/or acts.

He is not fearmongering. Fearmongering is when you make a non fearful subject fearful by falsley claiming more threat than is there. Like Bush did when he made all muslims states the same. Saddam became just as good as bin laden, when it wasn't true. He is not increasing our involvement overseas, especially not more than McCain will. The Afghanistan thing, at least he is trying to get bin laden, more than Bush did. I guess better late than never.

As for the bail out thing, I did not like it. I feel that we are being held accountable for stupid mistakes being made by stupid people, who have now been handed a welfare check of great proportions. Not talking about the homeowners of course.

The homeowners trusted that the banks and lending institutions would not lend them more than they could handle. So the homeowners are not at fault as much as the lending institutions are.
