The drummer is way more important.... the bassist you can do without. John Bonham...may he RIP his offspring tried kingdom come...lol, get it on Nope...wrong band...Jason Bonhams group was called...Bonham...big song was "Wait for you" You know I still remember how to play that stupid "get it on" song from kingdom come on my guitar...thats so sad...lolololl wait for you that was a song to forget,get it on bang a gong is better ummm...sadly I know and remember that one too...I can't remember the good ones though and need to find the music for them ya know steve stevenson from billy idol is pretty bad ass

Hard to tell...different music....bonhams drum solos are pretty damn impressive...tough one I think Peart's solos are right up there with the best of Bonham's. You are right though. Different musical styles makes it difficult to compare. I never really have been much of a Zepplin fan but I DO appreciate the musicianship.

Meh. Motley's music is too basic. I DO think that Tommy Lee should get a mention as far as drummers though.
