I joined a short time ago and I am so disappointed. I am a photographer and know enough that photographs don't always capture what a person really looks like.

And writing a little BS profile that says absolutely nothing isn't going to get you anywhere.

I think I'm prettier in person. I think I have a great personality and qualities most men would be attracted to, but I have yet to go on a date.

Love is not going to drop into your lap. You have to want and work for it.

After writing this I will probably never have a date but I have to stay true to myself.

I think the Jersey area people should all get together and go clubbing or something. Everyone on these sites seem to be perfectly content having pretend relationships with people they've never met.

that really is true.. i mean i dont have a pretend relationship i would probably never date anyone off this site they seem to prefer relationships with people they'll see 5 years later haha

I agree about the picture comment. Some people are just not photogenic.Allot of people look better in person.Unfortunately
our society has made people very shallow.Woman in the USA that "have a few extra pounds" just beat themselves up because they compare themselves to what they see in the media. I read an article that stated that the average American female is size 12 around 5' 4" tall and weighs around 140-150 pounds.
People need to be happy with themselves.
