Redistribution of wealth is not a concept we should be fighting for. Do not take from one and give to another. Things like this start wars...

When a war has ever been started with that concept really..............if you think about it we dont have much else..........instead of giving people who lost their homes to crooks like (Merrilyn Lynch, Countrywide, etc) we give it back to the guys who are wealthy to let them keeps stealing from us................you have to be kidding is this high school i cant believe grown people see nothing but color to this day...........wow Racism is truly ALIVE.......
Uh.... When did Racism fit into this?

First off, I have nothing against the man personally. Like I said at the beginning of the post, it was sent to me. I just posted it for discussion. It seems when there is nothing logical to say or a viable argument, a racist accusation is thrown in to stop everything. How dare you call me a racist! I have never been or will never be such a demeaning person. I don't judge anyone on race, religion or sexual preference. Everyone has something to offer, but when you make a comment like that you belittle every effort made to put a halt to racism. And by the way, racism does go both ways. Cut me down more, I don't care. It just shows how small minded you can be.

Since African Americans were given the vote they have always choosen WHITE MEN for presidency.............black people have been a major promoter of white men in a position of power..............so I dont think if a black person especially someone as Obama who is educated and classy who is running for president should not get the black vote...............

So do you mean you are only voting for Obama because of his race? Doesn't he have a white parent in the mix? Almost like defeating your purpose if that is the reason for your vote... still voting for at least half-white. It would be like voting for McCain because of his female running mate.... the novelty of something new. Hmmm.... vote to have the first half-black president, or vote because there is a female on the ticket and if McCain kicks during the term, first female president? Choices, choices, choices..... Oh, wait? Shouldn't it be about the platform and what is going to be done for the betterment of the country?

Unless it either Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell,or Condolezza Rice................black people are going to choose to be Republicans you stand for hate...................hate of others, of womens rights, of spreading the wealth past the 5%of the wealthy, of getting cheap or even free healthcare...............im suprised anyone is following your rhetoric but like I said this really comes down to good old fashioned hate...........

For me to vote I have to American which im not....................black people have been voting for RACIST WHITE MEN since they could vote so lets change it up and give that little power to someone else.................Oh yeah so far Bush(who is in the Republican party) has got us into a recession, we have higher gas prices, most of the people that I know are loosing their homes or in the mist of loosing their homes, young men and women have died in a war about oil (in vain), or but the most amazing of all things he is done is set us in a 3 trillion dollar deficit.........................GO REPS............slaphead whoa waving

for that matter it was the Republicans who freed the slaves

and it was Republicans who passed the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments to the U. S. Constitution granting blacks freedom, citizenship, and the right to vote

and it was Republicans who passed the Civil Rights Acts of 1866 and 1875 granting blacks protection from the Black Codes and prohibiting racial discrimination in public accommodations

and it was Republicans who sent U.S. troops to Arkansas to desegregate schools, established the Civil Rights Commission in 1958, and appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren to the U.S. Supreme Court which resulted in the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision ending school segregation

Oh really I dont think so honey not Martin Luther King Jr..................i will have to admit that the OLD republican party until its transformation centered on the well being of the people but there was a shift in ideology and that is why the Democractic party is labeled now as liberal and the Republican party is labeled conservative................

hopefully they are going to Afghanistan. but still Iraq is yesterdays news

They are. He wants to reinforce Afganistan with more troops. Partially to go after high priority targets in Pakistan.

Also, he mentions wanting to give more military and civilian aid to third world African countries.

Meaning, MORE involvment that Bush gave. This includes Sudan, which you know and i know, is another SH!T hole... All the above combined = a foreign policy that will not bring any troops home. And he will not be saving money spent on Bush's foreign policy.

They should have finished Afghanistan before they went into Iraq.
