That is what was there mostly Irish americans. Did you know you can apply for citezenship in Ireland if you can proove Irish decent?

If you have you can prove lineage and have requested birth records. Depending on what generation you are... if one of your parents was born in ireland, you can apply for citizenship born on forgein soil. I am not sure what you can do if you are generational. But if you contact the clerks office for the families' county they will be able to tell you.

ah ok! my son would be able to do too, because my mom went over there 4 years ago, haven't heard from her, but I am assuming she got her forgien born citizenship
